1. Definitions
“K LEAGUE TV” is an online streaming platform service operated by K League and Sportradar. In the process of registration, all users must agree to accept and respect Term of Use and the aforementioned Privacy Policy. Either K League and Sportradar reserve the right to make at any time and with no need for advance notice, any modifications or updates to the information contained in the website or platform, or to the configuration or presentation of the same, or to the conditions for access, and “K LEAGUE TV” will inform about any changes to Terms of Use by email.
2. Purpose and Scope of service
“K LEAGUE TV” offers the users to access to the various contents and services of K League. “K LEAGUE TV” is an internet-based service, and all users will require access to the internet to access the services. The users are responsible for all fees in connection with such access.
“K LEAGUE TV” also shows the presence of numerous partnerships with various sponsors and third party business partners through logos or advertising/promotional content representing on the website and/or platform at the launch of certain streaming and advertising inserts. “K LEAGUE TV” takes every effort to ensure the constant availability of “K LEAGUE TV” and keep up with the latest technological advances. However, the users acknowledge that “K LEAGUE TV” any technical shall not held responsible for damages and issues interrupting “K LEAGUE TV” services due to the nature of the internet, and the issues, such as computer viruses, site maintenance, security reasons or capacity issues as well as any events which K League has no control over, such as failure of public network connection, power outages, etc, may cause short interruptions or lead to the temporary suspension of “K LEAGUE TV” services or parts of them. The form and nature of the free-of-charge “K LEAGUE TV” services or parts of them may change from time to time or K League may, in their sole discretion, discontinue the services or parts of them without prior notice.
5. Intellectual property
The texts, images, logos of K League and the clubs, identity symbols, audio sounds, animations, videos, source codes and other contents included in the website and on the platform are the property of K League. Therefore, the total or partial exploitation of any of the content (text, logo, images, designs, etc) that appear on this website and the platform, as well as any copying, reproduction, adaptation, modification or transformation of the content of the website and the platform is strictly forbidden without the prior permission from K League which must be express and written.
The users are authorized to use the site for private purposes only. In no case a commercial or other exploitation of the various services and content offered is allowed.
The domain name “tv.kleague.com” is a domain name registered and protected by the legislation in force.
6. Personal data
“K LEAGUE TV” collects, processes and uses your personal information provided under the registration only within the framework stated in “Privacy Policy”. These personal data will not be used for other general advertising, commercial or transmitted to third parties except to those which supply services to K League, which perform certain activities for K league, but that in no case shall process the data for their own purposes.
7. Responsibility
K League takes all measures to provide the users with a quality service. However, in no case is K League responsible for any of the types of circumstances listed hereafter, which serve as examples for illustrative purposes only, or for any damages that may derived from the same, against which it cannot and is not obliged to provide a guarantee;
a) Possible security errors that may be produced as a result of using virus infected computers;
b) The use by third parties of elements belonging to K League that lead to confusion of identity
c) Incompliance by third parties that may affect the users of the website or the platform
d) The website, platform or any of their services not working properly
e) Consequences derived from a malfunctioning browser or the use of outdated version of the same
K League shall not be held responsible for breach by the users of the conditions in this legal notice, or for the use of the services and content accessible vis this website or the platform. Any damages that might be caused by a user adopting the personality of a third party in any communication made via this website and platform shall be the responsibility of the person who did so, as K league cannot control the authenticity of contents or information provided by users of the website.
8. Disputes related to the use of the website
The present conditions constitute all the rights and obligations of the parties either K League and the visitor or user. These conditions are subject to Korean law. Before any legal action, it is advisable to get in touch with K League via its contact form in order to agree on a conflict resolution in the rules of propriety. However, in case of dispute involving K League concerning the media made available to Internet users, the competent courts will be the judicial courts of Seoul. Any cancellation of a stipulation or clause of the conditions here drafted because of their nature contrary to a law or regulation in force in Korea, will in no way affect the validity of the other provisions which will retain their effects.
